Location Marketing Pre-requisites

Salesforce Marketing Cloud users can now download the Bluedot Location Marketing app from the Salesforce AppExchange, allowing high accuracy location services to be added to their new or existing Marketing Cloud campaigns.

  1. Create or have access to your Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account
    You must have a Salesforce Marketing Cloud account that you can use to manage all your Location-Based Marketing campaigns and personalized customer journeys. If your enterprise doesn’t already have a Salesforce Marketing Cloud account, contact your Salesforce Account Executive or ask a Bluedot team member to connect you with appropriate contact at Salesforce.
  2. Have a Mobile Application
    The Bluedot Point SDK must be integrated into an iOS or Android mobile app. You can configure what actions you would like your mobile app to trigger once the users have entered/left a Geofence or crossed a GEOLINE™. We suggest having a look at our use cases to get ideas of the best solution that fit your marketing campaign.
